Writing has always been a part of Marcy’s life. She loved to write as a kid, earning awards for her creative stories. Her professional roles include an online writer and editor for TV news and a communications specialist for a global corporation.

Marcy loves watching television and movies, pop culture from the 1980s and 1990s, listening to boy bands, and reading books. Turn on her TV and you are likely to find it on the Hallmark Channel or FRIENDS re-runs. Turn on her stereo and you’ll hear New Kids on the Block.

Her favorite days are spent with her family, especially at the happiest place on earth. She also loves watching her kids shine in athletics, academics, and art. Her kids' ninja warrior competitions and the positive ninja community inspired Marcy's Ninja Nico and Mighty Mia chapter books. Her creative daughter designed the covers for the Mighty Mia series.

Marcy's love of Hallmark movies and books inspired her to write adult fiction as well. And her family's recipes and love of food inspired her Italian family cookbook.

Marcy lives in suburbia with her kids (Nico and Mia), husband (Gino), and dog (Shelby).
